Miria wanted to be included in the dollhouse picture taking. Please excuse the messes everywhere. Building dollhouses isn’t exactly a neat activity.
The girls are surprisingly well-behaved when it comes to my dollhouse stuff. Miria might try to run off with some wood, but she always gives it up pretty easily. And Isaac just likes to hang out next to me and observe.
My winter dollhouse is mostly complete. It needs shingles and there are issues in places and some rough edges and areas that need paint touch ups, but I’m actually pretty happy with how it turned out.
It’s 1:12 scale, which is a bit large for the Calico Critters living in, but whatever. There’s a penguin room:

Have I ever mentioned that I was a competitive figure skater for ten years? I have nothing nice to say about that sport, and Isaac and Miria will never be allowed to be figure skaters, but there’s an ice rink in the basement of the house:
Michael had a lot of complaints about how it was a 3 against 1 hockey game and the puck is deformed, but I do what I want…. Well, not really. The other two pink bunnies are actually very busy getting measured for clothes I’m trying to make for them. As for the puck… that was one of the very first things I made out of clay. I will remake it eventually.
